I used to believe that ‘living my best life’ was something I had to wait for when I had more money, more time, or when things felt more stable. Maybe you’ve felt the same.

I wanted to travel, to experience the world, to create memories outside of the everyday grind. However, I kept putting it off because I didn’t think it was possible for me.

I told myself:

But something shifted. And sis, it changed everything.

I started praying differently.

I started praying with intention. I stopped asking if and started asking God how.

And little by little, with faith, intentionality, planning, and aligning my life with His Will, I began living the life I used to only dream about.

Living Life with God at the Center

The change didn’t start with more money or more time. It started with faith and intentional prayer. When you start praying with the belief that God could actually make it happen. Something breaks! Something SHIFTS!

That shift led to something big:

My first-ever two-week, multi-destination trip was an actual faith move.

We visited Bratislava, Slovakia, a hidden gem I never expected to like. In fact, it wasn’t on my list of places that I planned to visit. One of the sweetest surprises was watching children in “recess walking through the city with their class. It was precious to see how they prioritized exploration and freedom at such a young age. We wandered through Amsterdam, Netherlands, a serene city that deeply inspired me. Check out our 🔥 hotel here Jakarta Hotel Amsterdam

We ended in Vienna, Austria, full of rich history and beauty that reminded me of just how much life is out there to live.

But here’s the truth…

I still do not have “extra money.

I still don’t have “extra time.

What I do have is a willingness to take the first step and trust God with the rest. Listen, when we include God in the planning, He shows us what’s possible.

“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans. — Proverbs 16:3 (NIV)

5 Faith-Fueled Tips to Live Your Best Life (Starting Now)

If you’re anything like me, you’ve got a dream that’s been waiting for “the right time. But sis, remember, the right time starts with faith. Here are five practical, faith-based tips to start living the life God placed on your heart:

1. Pray with Intention and Expectation

Don’t just pray about your dream; pray like it’s already in motion. Ask God to show you His timing, His way, and your role in it.

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God… and it will be given. — James 1:5

2. Plan Like It’s Possible

Faith without a plan is just a wish. Begin planning as an act of faith. Even small steps, such as budgeting, writing out your goals, or researching what’s needed, are acts of faith.

“Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost… — Luke 14:28

3. Stop Waiting for “Enough”

You may never feel fully ready, but God is prepared to meet you where you are. He multiplies what you surrender.

“There is a boy with five loaves and two fish… — John 6:9

4. Get Comfortable Being Uncomfortable

Growth often comes through stretching. You won’t always feel brave, but God goes with you.

“Be strong and courageous… for the Lord your God goes with you. — Deuteronomy 31:6

5. Live Like It’s Already Yours

Take action in faith. Whether it’s booking the flight, starting the blog, or journaling your vision, live as if the future you’re praying for is already unfolding.

“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for… — Hebrews 11:1
