I’m blessed to witness God answer some of my life’s most significant, most unbelievable prayers, and I’d love to share one quick story with you. There was a time I prayed for a job that would pay me to do absolutely nothing—I’m so serious. Looking back, I think it was my way of testing God. But God, in His goodness, made it happen. I was hired by a company in the middle of a transition, and they apologized for not having any work for me! The best part? It was an online job, so I got paid to stay at home!

Here’s the thing—God longs to have a deep, personal relationship with us, one that’s so intimate He’ll even answer what I like to call “crazy” prayers.

But I won’t sugarcoat it—following God doesn’t mean we won’t face hardships. I’ve been through some of the toughest, gut-wrenching moments, the kind that had me lying on the bathroom floor, feeling like giving up. But even in those low points, I could still sense God’s presence, carrying me through.

If you’ve followed me for the last few years, you know my ministry is based around “The Wait is Over,” which is a declaration that we will not wait any longer to live our best lives. I know that is a huge declaration and even bigger to begin to walk in that. However, we serve a mighty God, who operates in the impossible. Can I get an “Amen!”

Now, let me clarify something. When I say, “The Wait is Over,” I’m not suggesting that all your dreams will instantly come true—where’s the growth in that? I am saying that you don’t have to wait to start enjoying your life. The moment you step in alignment with God, you unlock peace, purpose, and joy. And that, my friend, is the real (not-so-secret) secret to how to begin living your best life RIGHT NOW!

In our busy world, finding alignment with God can feel challenging. Between work, family, and personal goals, we often wonder if we’re truly walking in sync with God’s will. But the beautiful thing is, when we are in alignment with Him, there’s a peace and clarity that settles deep within our soul.

So, how do you know when you’re in alignment with God?

Here are four simple signs to look for (Alignment with God):

1. You Feel a Deep Sense of Peace

When your decisions and actions align with God’s will, peace is a natural outcome. This doesn’t mean everything will be easy or that you won’t have challenges. But even amid trials, there’s a calm assurance.
Philippians 4:7 reminds us, “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” If you’re experiencing this unexplainable peace, you’re likely on the right path.

2. Doors Open Without Struggle

Sometimes, we try to force things that aren’t meant for us. But when you’re in alignment with God, opportunities tend to flow naturally. Of course, effort is always required and timing is crucial, but there’s a difference between working hard and fighting against closed doors.
Revelation 3:8 says, “I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut.” When things start to fall into place without the usual struggle, it is usually a sign that God is guiding your steps.

3. Your Desires Begin to Match God’s Desires

One of the clearest indicators of alignment is when your heart’s desires align with God’s. This is the icing on the cake, sis. What you once wanted for yourself may begin to shift as you seek His will more deeply. Psalm 37:4 tells us, “Delight yourself in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” When your desires begin to reflect God’s purposes, you’re moving in alignment with Him.

4. You Feel Convicted, Yet Supported

The Holy Spirit often convicts us when we stray from God’s will. But in alignment, conviction feels less like guilt and more like gentle guidance. You’ll sense that God is lovingly steering you back on course.
Psalm 32:8 promises, “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.” God’s conviction is never harsh; its always filled with love.
