I want to be transparent. I went on a social media break during the most lucrative time of the year. Why is this significant? Social media is the primary way I market my business and generate income. Honestly, it doesn’t make sense to step away during a season where I was spending more money, and people were more likely to buy.
I’ll be real with you: I felt the financial pinch. I went to God like, Lord, my savings is dwindling fast—what is this?
Sometimes, what God asks of us doesn’t make sense in the natural, but that doesn’t mean we’re off track. My word for 2025 is obedience, and if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that [obedience] rarely feels smooth or predictable. It’s often a bumpy road where you’re seeking God in every moment, asking, Is this really where You want me to be?
Yet, when I look through the eyes of the Holy Spirit, I see provision. My savings may be taking a hit, but my bills are paid. I’ve had to tighten up spending, but my children still woke up to gifts under the tree. We had to cancel our end-of-year trip, but my family is healthy and celebrating together under one roof—both sides, no less!
I grieve the loss of my baby in heaven and miss her with every fiber of my being. Yet, in the same breath, I’m filled with joy holding the daughter God promised me 17 years ago when I was single, battling fibroid tumors, and facing what I didn’t yet know would be infertility.
Life isn’t always pretty or picture-perfect. It’s messy, complicated, and hard to navigate. But God’s peace truly surpasses all understanding.
Right now, I’m walking in obedience, trusting Him, and taking a leap of faith. The 3rd Annual “The Wait is Over” Workshop is happening on Thursday, January 23. This year, the focus is on helping women find alignment. Many of us feel stuck and disappointed that God didn’t answer a prayer the way we believed He would—if that’s you, I invite you to join us.
