If you know our story, you know our road to parenthood wasn’t easy. We had beautiful moments like our amazing adoption story and giving birth after years of infertility. Yet, we also had gut-wrenching moments like losing our daughter, Journey Faith.
What I’ve learned in this season is that sometimes your story doesn’t play out the way you expect, but God’s promises still stand.
I prayed we would have another girl. I believed God when He said He wasn’t finished with our story. Even after giving birth to a son, I knew God still wasn’t finished yet. I kept the baby clothes that Journey never got to wear, knowing that Faith would lead to Joy.
Years later…
Here we are.
When I tell you this feels so surreal. Not only does God answer our deepest desires, but He also presents them in a way that will leave us in awe.
I am truly in awe.
Great is your faithfulness, oh God! 🙌🏾
