Hey, It’s Ebby!
About Me
My name is Ebby LeBlanc; I am an imperfect believer, wife, mother, and writer. I published my first book, a Coming-of-Age Fiction novel when I was 17 and started my Lifestyle blog, Ebby’s Lane, a few years later. The content stemmed from my struggles as a Christian Single, searching for my purpose and identity. When I got married, my blog naturally evolved into marriage topics. I began to journal my battle with infertility and the miracle of adoption. A few years later, after years of infertility treatments, I became pregnant, and my life changed forever when I lost my daughter, Journey Faith, at three days old. I spent the next three years rediscovering who I was and who God was in my life. That is when my business pivoted to something even more beautiful. To honor my daughter, I would dedicate my life to empowering women to discover the beauty in life’s journey.
Thanks for stopping by!
Formal Bio
Eboni “Ebby” LeBlanc is a wife, mother, published author, blogger, certified English teacher, business owner, and mentor. She has a BA in English Literature and working on her Master’s in Creative Writing.
She wrote her debut novel at the tender age of 17 and published it at 20. Her second novel was published the following year. A few years later, she started her Lifestyle blog that touched on relationships, motherhood, and writing.
In addition, she utilized her love for empowering individuals to live their best life by organizing conferences such as a young women’s conference that empowered young girls to be confident in who they are in Christ. She organized an International Women’s Conference that focused on women’s identities in Christ while empowering them to embrace and celebrate diversity and culture.
After feeling stagnant and defeated for years in corporate America, she left and became a high school English teacher, where she would win the award for Rookie Teacher of the year in her first year. One aspect of her teaching style was incorporating confidence-building exercises within her English lessons. Her ultimate mission was to ensure students left her class not only knowing English concepts but empowered to be confident in themselves, unafraid to chase their dreams, and determined to make their mark on society. She left the teaching profession due to a high-risk pregnancy, eventually losing her daughter at three days old. She would spend the next two years in isolation, barely leaving her home.
She has dealt with years of infertility and multiple losses in which she incorporates her experience into her work. She knew her story was never just about her and has made it her mission to bring awareness to infertility and adoption through her writing. In addition, she encourages others to turn their experiences and tragedies into messages of hope. After all, God never wastes anything.
Ebby currently spends her time being a wife and mompreneur. She continues to write blogs, ebooks, and more. She also spends her time mentoring young women to follow their dreams and maximize their potential and empowering women to manifest the life they don’t need a vacation from.

Thanks for the conversation and for following my blog, But, as to the latter, you probably don’t really want to do that. One, I’m too the right of most Conservatives; two, many of posts will come across as racist to you because I don’t like much of what I see or hear of modern Black culture and, while I strive to polite on others’ blogs, I’m fairly pitiless and blunt on my own.
It’s, of course, up to you though. I like dissenting opinions and dislike my blog turning into an echo chamber.

LOL! Thank you for the disclaimer. I will take my chances. Now, I’m curious to read your stuff. If it becomes too much I can always unfollow. Haha! But, hey it could make for interesting debate.

It might at that…if you can get past the initial response. To help with that – or to drive you off before we utterly hate each other – here’s one of my posts that touches upon my fundamental views on “race” in America: http://blog.jonolan.net/politics/dont-discuss-race/
Conversely, however, here’s another post that might hit home with you: http://blog.jonolan.net/society/black-beauty/ Warning though, it’s filled with scantily clad women…

Hi Ms. Ebby! Thank you for following my blog. I absolutely agree with you, “the first step to becoming a writer is acknowledging you are one”. I’m still struggling “being a writer” myself.haha. You have a great blog! I’m following you now. Please continue to be a blessing to many bloggers. God bless you!

Hello! It is definitely a struggle. Even after writing two books I was still hesitant to call myself a writer. Crazy, huh? Thank you for your kind words. You have a great blog too! You’re a great writer too. I look forward to following you and connecting. God bless you!
